Program Enrollment

Accepting applications for Fall 2021

Whether you're a minority male who is transitioning out of foster care, being released from incarceration or you're simply looking to brush up on skills/training, we offer programs and courses that are tailored to your needs. We provide services to help minority men live a productive and successful life. Participation in our programs is always 100% free of charge to those enrolled with Better Foundations & Futures, Inc. Adult Education Program. 

We will offer the following programs/services for our April 2021 quarter: 

  • Finish High School

  • Prepare for College

  • Life Skills Training

  • Development Courses

  • Job Training

  • Job Placement

  • Career Resources

  • Government Assistance

  • Housing Assistance

  • Food/Clothing Resources

  • Legal Advice

  • Mental Health Programs

  • Drug/Rehab Treatment

  • Mentorship

Program Requirements for Enrollment: 

  • Have had contact with the judicial system or

  • Have a background that is creating barriers to success.

  • Are willing and able to work, and

  • Are willing to commit to a long-term process (18 months or more).

  • Agree to maintain a drug-free lifestyle.

  • Agree to give a matching number of volunteer hours based on program enrollment hours. 

Application Process: 

  • Complete the online application.

  • Once your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted by an enrollment specialist. 

  • You will be required to attend an interview and complete an assessment. 

  • Once you have been accepted, you will be contacted by a case manager. 

  • You will be required to sign a letter of commitment agreeing to meet the expectations of program enrollment. 

  • You will be required to attend an orientation. 

  • We will dedicate our time and energy to help you achieve success.
